19th Century French Vessel, Urn with Mythological figures

This Magnificent Vessel features a terra cotta background with dazzling gold detailed Allegorical characters. The scene depicts mythological figures, playing instruments including flutes and lyres. The mask handle is decorated with a figural head and has a double swan on each side. This piece is embellished with classic borders and scrolls in black, white and gold gilded highlights. This is a work of art and stunning detailed piece.
