This antique French bronze chryselephantine sculpture depicts a queen or noble woman seated upon a gothic coffer and resting her arm upon a box for valuables. Her hand and face are crafted from ivory. The work rests upon its original green marble base with original mounts. The work is signed " Raphanel ". This work dates from the late nineteenth to early twentieth century. Measures 12.25" high, 6.25" wide and 5.15" deep and weighs an estimated 14-18 lbs. This item resides with our client on the Upper East Side of Manhattan in New York, and may be seen by appointment. Additional images forwarded upon request. ( statue )
