Where in the world will you find another one of these? Especially in this condition. ANTIQUE OAK LAWYERS Document Letter File CABINET , c. 1905  - FANTASTIC "GLOBE"  of Cincinnati, Ohio -   stacking letter file cabinet in solid quarter-sawn oak. Each section holds drawers (9 1/4 x 2 1/2) for filing. Perfect for the attorney, accountant or paper collector. Just painstakingly refinished to preserve the original patina of the wood  and in great condition. Unit is 42" wide x 13" deep x 96" high. These photos show 6 file boxes stacked, with the 2 drawer base and the top. The metal trim and accents have a copper accent to them.

This cabinet has ALWAYS been stored in a climate controlled environment and was in the same lawyers office in Syracuse, NY from 1905 until the mid 1970's, and thereafter in the home of a private collector. It has never been stored in a barn, basement, etc, and has never been insect, water damaged or mildewed.

Flat-panel sides showing wide flake tiger grain. File boxes are fiberboard and in very good condition, we have repaired a couple of them but most are in their original state and very sturdy. Boxes can be removed as seen in the lower sections pictured.  There are a total of 9 pieces here, 6 stack sections, base, top and bottom drawer. Back is completely original.

Pickups always welcome here in Greenwood SC, and delivery or half-way meets may be a possibility depending on where you live. We will be happy to work with your shipper on safe transport of this item - it is a big one, but does break down into 9 sections. We will provide you with all the dimensions and weight to get an accurate shipping quote. Sales to the lower 48 only.
