This U.S. Glass Company pitcher is in the Athenia or Reverse 44 pattern. It has a rim of silver flashing that adds to the charm of this vintage paice. Circa 1912 the pattern is skillfully done with silver trim and the pressed reversed 44 pattern embossed on the surface. This pitcher stands 12" high and 5.5" wide at the rim to the lip and has a hexagonal shaped foot that measures 4.5" wide. It is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. It could be used as a vase for added elegance to any floral arrangement.
