Hand carved 19th century French gilt coffee table with glass top. The original marble top was broken in the container coming over and replaced with a custom made to fit the scrolled top 3/8 inch glass top with polished edges. This table a bit higher for a nice sized coffee table or possible side table. Gorgeous carving along the apron with acanthus leaf designs seen on the knees.Curved and sturdy support structure legs with a solid center panel of larger acanthus leaves and ornate finial. Beautiful original water gilded finish on all. Expert workmanship and condition. Measures 41L X 20W X 23H.
