Italian plaster bust sculpture of a young girl C.1890-1905 was finished with the old gilt ,some of the red undercoating used in that era seen beneath.Cherub cheeks and detailed features. Her hair is braided into four rows and fastened at the crown with a band. Unsigned but truly talented artist who captures the child's innocence completely. Stands on square gilt base. Small bits of worn gilt,especially on the right side,otherwise excellent condition with no cracks,etc. Measures 15.5H X 5.5D X 7L.Can be shipped via Federal Express with zip code.
