What a neat piece this is.....you have a Holland wooden shoe carved with handle for carrying and serving wine or liquor.....red felt lined; has adjustable neck ring to help adjust for the type of bottle you are serving with.....the shoe measures 11 inches long; the opening is about 3 1/2 inches round; the width of the shoe is about 4 inches wide....in GREAT condition; a very conversational piece; your company will admire it! I am an antique junkie. I do a lot of traveling attending local auctions and estate sales, particulary in my home state and while I try to give as best description as possible when listing items, bear in mind I am not an expert. That what you see is how it is presented to me. I do not go out of my way to clean up the items; I leave that up to you.
