An old Iban statue, the warrior is carved entirely from a single Ironwood trunk, he is seen wearing his traditional loincloth and holding his shield and parang. Extremely heavy. Only the shield and Parang sword are detachable. Sarawak Borneo. Circa 1960. Natural lines on the statue due to old age but otherwise a lovely old sculpture from the past. 
Suitable for indoor or outdoor, Ironwood/Billionwood are able to withstand any weather conditions for many lifetimes!
