A very nice Gerstner machinist box dating to about 1930. This box has been patiently refinished and refelted. 11 Drawers are all good with no repairs. Hardware has been cleaned and polished but not laquered. Black leather handle is probably as good or better than any other box out there. Small water stain on right side of box that would not sand out, but doesnt take away from character of box. Original mirror and all knobs. No pitting on any of the hardware. All drawer bottoms are original. Just a great box for the collector - and as clean as it can be - no grease or oil stains anyplace.
