This is a unglazed ceramic hen that is also a candy container. It is marked "Made in Germany - U S Zone Germany". It has a cardboard base with green paper grass on which the hen sits. The hen has very minor wear on the tip of the beak and the tip of the tail where some of the paint has been rubbed off.
