We offer a truly magnificent sterling silver English covered serving dish 1795, by Chawner. The condition is extremely good. It is crested to one side and to the other with British Hallmarks for London, marked CH (for Chawner), London 1795. This magnificent piece looks as though it dates from the workshops of Jensen with its contemporary classical style.
