Beautiful and large sterling silver basket with chased decoration and folding handle. Feathered diadem etched in bottom. Chasing may have been added sometime in the 19th C.

Hallmarked on top side of lip British Sterling, London, with date mark B for 1797. Maker's mark HS or SH possibly for Solomon Hougham. British Antique Dealers Association, Export sticker as seen in photo.

MEASURES: 9-1/2 x 14 inches

Very good overall condition. No breaks, cracks or repairs found. Some small dings and scratches from age and use.
