Quaint pair of spectacles with hinged side arms, and pointy ends - you shoved them into the fabric of your wig to keep them on. Many wig spectacles had loops on the end of the arms, so you could tie them together to keep them in place - these dont seem to have has this. The makers name is Mason, of Essex Bridge (England). They measure 10.8 cm across the face, and 2.7 cm high (4.1/4 inches by just over 1 inch). The sides are 16 cm long (6.1/4 inches) unfolded. Very good condition, one of the arms has a point broken off.
