We are finding it harder and harder to acquire fine Georgian jewelry in good condition. This piece meets all our criteria of quality and originality. The oval and pear shaped amethysts are of good color and are in an elaborate foliate setting of bi-colored gold (Green and yellow). It is very versatile, in that it can be worn as a brooch or a pendant, and the pendant elements can be added or subtracted. Condition is superb and the workmanship is of the highest quality.
