All 58 prints from Miserere were recently featured at the Museum of Bibilical Art in New York city in a show entitled "This Anguished World of Shadows: Georges Rouault's Miserere et Guerre", which ran from 3/30/06 to 5/28/06. This was the first time the complete work had been shown in New York in almost 40 years. This exhibition was especially notable due to the limited number of editions of Miserere which remain intact. The museum published a 192- page color catalog for the exhibition which features almost 80 images, including all 58 plates. Published by MOBIA and D. Giles Limited of London, it includes contributions from MOBIA’s curatorial staff, a large bibliography, an essay on the artist's printmaking techniques, and the main essay is contributed by Soo Yun Kang of Chicago State University, author of Rouault in Perspective.
