Georges Briard was well known midcentury modern artist. His pieces were proudly displayed in homes. This exquisite signed candle stick measures 5 1/4" high and 2 7/8" wide at the square base. A round column sits on the square base and flares at the top. The white porcelian is decorated with delicate flowers and is trimmed in gold. One side of the column has violets and the other has yellow daisies. Green leaves decorate the base and a above the flowers. The bottom is signed "by Georges Briard". This lovely piece is in very good condition. There are no chips, cracks or repairs.
