The Georgene Novelties company produced Brownie and Girl Scout dolls from the late 1940s through the 1950s. This near-mint all cloth Brownie Scout doll comes complete with all parts of her brownie uniform, including a pair of under shorts, the Brownie dress, tan socks, brown leatherette tie shoes AND her original Brownie beanie hat. Her braided hair is full and curly in its original neatly braided and ribboned style. Her painted blue eyes, with long painted eyelashes, single stroke eyebrows, rosy cheeks and red lips are all perfect. Her all cloth body remains in great shape with no rips, stains or odors. She's amazingly clean, especially considering her age, with just the lightest surface soil on the front of her legs and back of her hands. Hard to find in such immaculate condition, this would make a great addition to a Scouting or doll collection.
