Georg [George] Jensen "Acorn" pattern sterling silver cake knife with stainless steel blade. This cake knife measures approx. 10.5" in length and is in fine original condition with no signs of prior restoration, recently polished. The blade of this cake knife is made of stainless steel and marked with authentic "Georg Jensen Denmark" insignia and "Stainless Steel Raadvad". Circa early twentieth century. Georg Jensen is one of the greatest silversmiths of all time. Soon after he opened his workshop in 1904 his unique flatware, jewelry and hollow ware became world famous. Today Georg Jensen’s silver art is just as alive, vibrant, and extremely desirable as when he first designed it.
