Designed by Harald Nielson in 1947, the distinct decoration of strong and clear lines, accentuate the shape. The double fluted pattern originated from France and was popular in Denmark as early as the 1700's. After the death of Georg Jensen, Nielson, a trusted and beloved employee and friend, carried on the silversmith's artistic tradition for more than half a century. The cold cut fork measures in lenghth: 6 1/2" and was manufactured in Denmark. Impressed marks: signature- Georg Jensen, Sterling, Denmark. This peice is done in a classical style that will compliment most interiors.
