General Motors Twice In Lifetime Ad 1944 This is a april 18, 1944 advertisement. It is a nice color ad from General Motors. Ad shows a young boy sleeping. It is titled twice in lifetime. Says this little fellow was young a dozen years ago when General Motors put the finishing touches on a new refrigerant known as Freon. This Freon provides safety for home or hospital refrigeration, Now he is on a South Pacific Island and old enough to know that one of his deadliest enemies there is the mosquito, carrier of malaria. Now again Freon comes to his aid. for when mixed with chemicals to kill mosquitoes this compound makes a new and better kind of insect spray. Nice little article. In excellent condition. Photo is taken through plastic and may show wrinkles or crookedness that is not in the ad. This original magazine tear sheet measures 10 1/2 inches wide by 13 1/4 inches tall.
