General Motors Showers and Cooler Ad 1945 This is a April 21, 1945 advertisement. It is a nice color ad from General Motors. Ad pictures two small boys. One is in swimming trunks and is playing with a bucket of sand. The second boy has a sprinkling can of water and is pouring water on the boy in the swimming trunks. Ad says kids find a way to keep cool. Keep them cool and they are more energetic. GM works to keep engines cool. GM helped LST and LCI to swarm up to the beaches on D Day. They helped to keep subs cool and livable. Here again, peacetime experience and research helped turn the tide of the war. In excellent condition. Photo is taken through plastic and may show wrinkles or crookedness that is not in the ad, This magazine tear sheet measures 10 1/2 inches wide by 14 inches tall.
