General Motors Showers and Cooler Ad 1945 This is a April 21, 1945 advertisement. It is a nice color ad from General Motors. Ad pictures two small boys. One is in swimming trunks and is playing with a bucket of sand. The second boy has a sprinkling can of water and is pouring water on the boy in the swimming trunks. Ad says kids find a way to keep cool. Keep them cool and they are more energetic. GM works to keep engines cool. GM helped LST and LCI to swarm up to the beaches on D Day. They helped to keep subs cool and livable. Here again, peacetime experience and research helped turn the tide of the war. In excellent condition.
