Frida Kahlo signed, and dated print of a Self Portrait she did in 1953. There was not too many copies made of this one, and she passed away in 1954.  This looks like a picture taken from a Magazine or art book.  When looked at with a loop or magnifying glass there are tiny pixals, this print was made in Mexico, in 1953. The picture was in a frame too small for it, so I had it professionally framed. The frame measures 16 inches by 18 inches, the actual print is 12 by 10 inches, The Spanish writing at the bottom of the print, says "Why do I want feet, as I have the wings to fly." Frida had a leg amputated some time before this picture was painted. The eyebrows have wings, and if you look closely there is a tiny figure in the center of the wings.  This fabulous print is call a "lithographia" in  Mexico.    Thanks for shopping in the Land of Enchantment!
