Side knife carried by the tribes of the Tetela rain forest region. Hand-forged 9" iron blade, widening toward the rounded tip (sharpened, with minor pitting and edge nicks); v-shaped ridged ricasso. Tapering one-piece wood grip with central disk feature; wrapped with iron bands. Overall length 14 ½". Very good condition, showing wear from normal age and use.
