Old French lacemakers bobbin, still with its thread. Made in what looks like olive wood. Measures 10.5 cm long (4.1/8 inches). Very good condition - it has the normal dings of age, but nothing serious. The sides of the bulb of these bobbins are slightly worn flat, where they constantly rub against the pillow. Late 19th to early 20th century.
