French Napoleon III Gilt Bronze Mantle Clock

Unavailable
This lovely French Napoleon III period mantle clock in the Louis XVI style, circa 1850-1860s, was recently regilded. It's in good working condition and chimes at the top of the hour and once at the half-hour. We are very confident this clock was made by Vincenti d' Argent, a clock maker who apprenticed with his father and is believed to have produced clocks until 1870. There are no distinguishing hallmarks on the face nor on the movement, except for the number 1615. Key is not original. Measures 16.5" high, 10.5" wide and 7" deep and weighs an estimated 25-30 lbs. This item resides in our client's place in Larchmont NY in Westchester County and may be seen by appointment.
