Constructed of mahogany with original ormolu mounts to the crest and base, this chair is of the French Imperial period and dates the early 19th century. It has a wonderful and very clean Salamandre upholstery as well as gilt paint treatment to the arms that is original. Measuring 37 1/2" high (back) by 23 wide by 20 deep, the seat height is 17" high. Very high style chair in fabulous condition. Your complete satisfaction is our goal. If you are not happy with an item purchased, return it in it's original condition for a refund.
