Antique white painted late 19th century combination hall tree from France. Carved scrolled and ribbed header with original mirror in wonderful condition. Has a couple of tiny spots where silvering showing but minute and reflects as should. Eight turned spindle decorative center and decorative scrolled side. Two metal hooks on either side with two smaller,shorter hooks to hold coats,scarves,hats and the like with the 4 hooks. Bottom section with turned spindle legs gives ample room for umbrellas, canes and the sturdy spindle front to hold comforters or throws . Removable cast iron bowl in the center bottom to catch water with raised designs. Larger spindle front for hanging blankets, coats or quilts. Stands on raised flat feet. Unique and charming. Very sturdy. Appears to have always been painted but could have been retouched over the years. Excellent condition aside from above mentioned mirror. Measures 78H X 24L X 11D. Good size for many rooms.
