Pair of French Louis XVI oval gilt tables in bit smaller size hand carved from the late 19th century. Removable stunning marble top with Roman Ogee cut edge for added flair. Marble in cream background with taupe and tan veining. Hand carved ribbon design surrounds the deep apron with square block design depicting a rosette at the top of each reeded leg. Additional carving on the upper collar of the legs. Superior support structure beneath with open work carving and finial. Wonderful as side tables with lamps and room for decorative items as well. Excellent sturdy condition with no nicks or chips to the marble and beautiful patina to the gilt. Measure 29H X 22L X 17.5D.
