French gilt round coffee table 19th century hand carved has beautiful open work floral and ornate carving on the scalloped wide apron spaced with 4 additional rosettes on blocks. The knees offer a wide collar on reeded legs above additional rosette carving with corresponding block above tapered feet. Sturdy cross turned support beneath with center knob finial. A new thick 3/8 inch piece of glass was cut to the outline of the top as the original marble was broken in the container. Wonderful patina to the gilding and in excellent condition with exception to a very small piece of missing apron trim on right side (see last photo)but scallops and blends into the existing wood just fine. Very sturdy. Measures 20.5H X 27.5L X 27.5D. Possible shipping via Federal Express with zip code.
