19th century French rectangular framed with oval glass and insert of floral hand made needlepoint in gorgeous hues of sage,blue,cream,tan,red,orangey/pink and yellow. Excellent condition. The background a finely woven mesh texture with a light brown color. Gilt and creamy tan frame,the gilt peeking out behind the tan with small bits of worn paint. A wonderful antique look. Wire on back for hanging if not using the carved antique cream easel included with rose and leaf motif. Easel connected with cording. A beautiful pair. Framed needlepoint measures 12 H with easel,8H without,X 6 7/8L X 5D,needlepoint is 5 7/8L without easel. Both in excellent condition.
