Additional photos available. Antique cream scrolled and open work metal French fire fender from the 19th century is low to add an accent to the fireplace without obstructing the fire's view. Acanthus leaf center header with bead work upper and lower. Short feet either end with additional decorative work. Can be turned upside down to use as a bed corona or canopy with fabric liner. Thin sheet metal could be attached to the back edge for attaching as well as through the solid metal upper plate and hooks into the two back open work edges. Original cream paint adds to the appeal.Excellent condition other than the paint wear. Measures 44L X 9.5D X 5H. Can be shipped via Federal Express Ground with your zip.
