The French Chef Cookbook By Julia Child 1961. 1st Printing by Alfred A. Knopf. The hard cover book measures approximately 8 1/2" x 5 3/4" x 1 1/2" & includes a few many black & white photographs & illustrations. The book has 440 pages. I could not find an ISBN number.

This book grew out of the educational television series, "The French Chef," which was designed to cover as much as possible of French cooking in several seasons of weekly half hour programs. It ranges from sauces, stews, and meats to appetizers, vegetables, desserts, cakes and pastries, and from the very simple to the fairly complicated.
The book is in near new. The binding is strong. I inside first blank page has faint old price writing and has a tiny hole tear. The rest of the book is very clean with no other writing.
