Fabulous hand carved gilt 19th century bed corona,coronet ,bed canopy or ceil de lit from France mid 19th century. Thick acanthus leaves cover the four arms with more intricate floral carving on the two long sides. Outstanding bouquet of roses on the underside of the main pedestal to view while in bed. A raised reeded gilt roof on the upper. Four rope satin lengths attach to hooks on the four corners and to one large "S" hook for the ceiling. Four new white soft net panels are attached with hooks on the two sides as in photo or with the 2 additional included on all four sides to pull back,drape or poof however you desire. Each panel measures 110 inches wide by 98L allowing room to display many ways. Excellent condition. Measures 28L X 16.75D X 10H,the satin rope each 28 inches long.
