French Art Deco Vanity & Dressing Mirror

Unavailable
This vanity dates from circa 1930 and was recently imported from Paris. Measures 63.5" high by 53.4" wide by 16" deep. Original mirror measures 58" high. It is crafted from quarter-sawn wood believed to be a dark-stained Brazilian tulipwood or possibly kingwood. Overall condition is good. The piece could use a gentle cleaning and polish. There are a few scrapes and chips to the veneer in spots, including a 1/2" veneer chip to the front left corner, chips from the veneer on the left side, and a light 3" scrape to the finish on the lower left front edge of the mirror frame. Water stains and wear to the finish in noticeable on the surface beneath the glass shelf and on the tops of the cabinets. The silvering on the mirror is worn away in some spots. Original hardware. Our client has a restorer on site and we will be glad to provide a quote for refinishing prior to shipment.
