This is a truly exceptional bracelet. It has the French control mark for 18k gold as well as the maker's mark. Typical of this period of jewelry, the diamonds are set in silver backed by 18k gold. There are approximately 9 carats of diamonds, consisting of cushion cut and rose cut stones. The design is elegant and dramatic, with single prong set stones alternating with diamond Xs (Schlumberger did not invent this!) It is beautifully articulated and has a very liquid feel for so large and impressive a bracelet. This is for a confident and sophisticated woman.
