Framed Asian Diorama Picture Display. As you can see that it is a diorama type picture behind glass framed in metal. It measures approx 12" x 7". There are some brackets on the bottom that look like they should slide onto a holder. I really don't know what to make of it. I think that this must have been some type of display. Perhaps for a restaurant. There are small openings in the bottom that look like they could have supported wiring for a light. In any event it is funky and beautiful at the same time. The glass has reversed paint border framing the scene. Then the framed is metal. the back is that old Masonite board from the 50's . I have not had it out of the glass. The decorations appear to made of shell but I don't know for sure.
The condition is good. The scene is excellent. The metal frame has a few areas of worn paint. The glass has some smudges that are in the paint on the reverse side of the glass.
