This is a gorgeous piece from the Fostoria Company. The base measures 9 in. diameter, and is 4 in. tall at the back, 2.5 in. at the front. The lily type insert is 7 in. plus the peg. The peg is wrapped in clear tape to enable it to fit securely. I think it probably came with a sleeve at one time. This also enables you to use the base as a candleholder. No chips, cracks, etc. Beautiful white opalescent that shows a touch of blue in the light. This line was produced from 1959-1970. Display, use and enjoy this elegant piece in your home.
