VERY heavy threading enhance the extraordinary detail to this mushroom lamp. Creamy ground with golden and green decoration and having the awesome golden glass threading. Excellent with no chips, cracks or hairlines. It was made by the Fostoria Glass Specialty Co. (not to be confused with Fostoria Glass Co.of West Virginia) in Fostoria, Ohio between 1910-1914. This line of art glass was called IRIS ware. They made mostly lamps and lamp shades. We are told that this EXACT lamp is shown in color in FOSTORIA OHIO GLASS vol.II by M. Murray(1992) on page 129.
