This jug was made by the preeminent Georgia folk art pottery team of Huey & Anne Wheeler. Both are self taught first generation potters. Huey makes the jug and does the firing, Anne adds the whimsical faces that makes their pottery so highly collectible. This jug is a limited edition commissioned piece, made especially for Rita's Relics. Only two have been made. This is numbered RR#1. The bottom is signed by the potters and is inscribed, "Song of the South."
