Here is a great piece of vintage kitchenware. It is a Foley food mill. They were a very useful kitchen tool before we had all the electic machines to chop and grind food. This piece is marked "TO USE FOOD MILL -TURN PADDLE RIGHT WITH DOWNWARD PRESSUREREVERSE OFTEN-WITH FRUITSHAVING HARD PITS OR SEEDSREMOVE SPRING AND USE ONLY NUT TO PADDLE FOLEY MFG. CO. MPLS,MINN. The bowl or pan part measures 3 7/8" high and 7 3/8" in diameter. The 5 3/4" handle is marked FOOD MILL by Foley. Two hooks on the side of the utensil are used to hang onto the side of a bowl or pan. It is all metal except for the black plastic crank handle. It is a vintage piece in good operational conditional.
