Here's an early advertising laundry-related starch box - Fluffy Ruffles Starch from the Independent Starch Company, New York. It is a sample size although it doesn't say "sample." It is paper over cardboard and is empty. There's the image of a pretty lady on the front. On the side there's a caption that's kind of interesting as I believe it relates to Negroes..."What makes your Ruffles so Fluffy and Light? It's the Starch Dinah uses That makes them look right." There is edge wear and light soiling to the box as well as some paper loss at the top front of the box. If you are a collector of early laundry related memorabilia, this starch box is nice.
