This is a very pretty Staffordshire, England bone china paperweight, posy or ornament that is a hand made bouquet of flowers by Aristocrat china. This piece was made in the 1930s and measures 2.75 inches high by 2.75 inches in diameter and features 3 flowers that look like violets in pink, lavender and pink and yellow in an urn type vase. There are also green leaves. The posy is in excellent condition. We watched craftsman making these at the factory workrooms in Stoke On Trent and were amazed at the skill and time it took to make each part of these arrangements by hand from a lump of clay. Beautiful!
