This is a lovely early Staffordshire, England plate measuring 1 inch high by 9.5 inches in diameter with a hand applied enamel paint on transfer floral center including a rose and 2 daisies with a blue border and hand applied gold shell and foliage design with a gold dentil edge. The only mark is the hand written number 1864 over glaze in orange/red. The plate is in very good condition with no chips or cracks, but there is some gold wear and some utensil marks. A beautiful plate.
