A rare Boston and Sandwich EAPG lacy plate in the Peacock Eye (Peacock Feather) design, circa 1830 - 1845. The central part of the beaded bull's eye has S-shaped scrolled eye elements with fine diamond and stippling alternating on the shallow sidewall. Stippled diminutive rope rings surround eyes on the border. The rim has small even scallops. Plate measures 6 1/8" diameter and is 7/8" high. Naturally there are chips and nicks on the scalloped edge that is commonly found on these antique Sandwich glass pieces. There are no cracks. 10 ounces
