Finding Moses KPM Plaque After Delaroche

Unavailable
This fabulous KPM porcelain plaque depicts the biblical story of the pharaoh's daughter finding Moses, after the famous painting by Paul Hippolyte Delaroche (1797-1856). It depicts Moses adrift in a basket in shallow water on the Nile river as the daughter peers through tall reeds. Plaque measures 12.75" by 8.75" and the frame measures 21" by 18.5" by 2.5". Plaque and frame measure a total of 7 lbs. 5 oz. We have found no artist signature. Rear of the plaque has an old paper label from Renner & Co., a gallery once at 719 6th Avenue in New York City. Gesso and gilt wood frame is very old and possibly original to the plaque. There are some losses to the gesso all all four sides. Additional images forwarded upon request.
