For Sale I have a Carnival Glass bowl made by Fenton Glass Company of Williamstown, West Virginia. The Pattern is "Holly" and it is the ever popular Ruffled Edge Bowl. The base color of the Glass is Marigold.

The Bowl displays a great iridescence on both sides. The Bowl depicts a pattern of Sprigs of Holly Berry and Leaves that meet in the center. The detail in the Leaves is just outstanding as you can clearly see veining and stippling on the background. The back of the bowl is plain and smooth. The color is excellent as you can see Brilliant Gold Iridescence with Strong hues of Fuchsia and Blue/Purple. The back shows these color tones as well. The mold strike in this Bowl is crisp and clean. The Bowl has a Clear Round Collar foot.

The piece is considered to be in excellent condition as there are no cracks, nicks, chips, or dings. The only issue is some minor tiny scratches on the underside. I couldn't see any areas on the Inside as it is very clean and brilliant. The piece is unsigned and shows to be an earlier Fenton piece of Carnival Glass.

I have had this pattern many times over the years. I will honestly say this piece has one of the nicest iridescence I have ever had the pleasure of owning. Purchase with confidence as I'm sure you will be delighted with your purchase. This piece was made Circa 1920-1939.
