Before tupperware and other plastic containers became the keepers of the left overs housewives used refrigerator jars or container specially designed to go from the refrigerator to the table. This one is from the Federal Glass Co. This rectangular box with lid measures 8 1/2" x 4 1/8"x 3 1/4" high. The sides have a ribbed design and the lid has a vegetable design. These pieces were used daily and usually ended up with many chips and cracks. This one seems to have survived with none! There are 2 available. The price is for each.
