This is a classy hat, worn by a lady of fashion in mid-Ohio in the 1940's. It has been carefully preserved in these ensuing years and is admirable condition. The feathers are all intact and show their colors beautifully, and the pink brocade lining is also intact. The only flaws are that the small ribbon flowers, one on each side, are a bit ragged and there is a hole in the netting on the right side. Each of these little details can easily be fixed. The important thing is that all of the feathers are in excellent condition. This is as fine a styled feather hat as you'll ever find for this price.
