This early 2-piece Pennsylvania painted corner cupboard has wonderful faux graining. The original cornice is boldly displayed over 2 glass doors. Each door has 8 individual panes of glass resulting in a desirable 16-pane corner cabinet. All appear to have their original wavy glass. The doors open to reveal the original painted interior with 3 shelves and double plate grooves. The base cabinet has 3 small hand dovetailed drawers. The hardware is not original but an appropriate replacement. Below are 2 recessed paneled doors with their original latch and lock. Inside is a single shelf. Amazingly, the paint on this corner cabinet is all original and in remarkable condition. There are rubs and scratches, which are to be expected given its age and intended use. The feet are full height and prominent. This cupboard will require at least 36" of wall space on each side of the corner. What a handsome piece of early painted Pennsylvania furniture.
