(c. 1890).I bought this clock out of a castle in Germany near the city of Munich . This is the most wonderful wall clock you will ever find in such original and perfect condition!The clock case is made of the finest walnut and the patina is outstanding!The clock case is inlaid with thin strips of lemon wood !!Even the inside of the case is made of the most beautiful walnut!!The movement is an 8-days bronze movement and driven by 1 weight, so it has no chimes.The porcelain dial and the steel handmade hands are gorgeous and in perfect condition. Around the dial is a bronze ring,the so called bride garland what is very Unique!!The bronze back plate of the movement is signed with the logo of Gustav Becker and the numerals 530010.The Gustav Becker clock factory was one of the most famous clock factories in Europe at that time.The movement has an inscription that it have won a Medaille D'Or ( Gold Medal).
